Comparative docking of natural and synthetic inhibitors against the MMP-2
As important gelatinase, matrix Metallo-Protienase-2 is responsible for the cancer metastasis and invasion when overexpressed. So to inhibit the MMP-2 activity several inhibitors are available without satisfactory results. These available inhibitors are either natural or synthetic in terms of the resources. Here we compared their activity with docking against the MMP-2 on the basis of binding energy (BE). Data mining used to screen the inhibitors from available literature and data.
